This large volume provides all of Rushdoony's Chalcedon Report articles from the beginning in 1965 to mid-1989. These articles were, with his books, responsible for the Christian Reconstruction and theonomy movements. It has been an important book during the last 30 years!
There are two significant issues this volume. The first is that Rushdoony kept writing until 2001, so many of his articles are not included. The second is the book does not include an index, so it's difficult to hone in on specific essays. Both of these issues have since been addressed, and the Faith & Action trilogy, published in 2019, recompiles the essays included here with all the rest, and offers significant indexing to make the material much more accessible.
