Mr. and Mrs. Brown first meet Paddington—a most endearing bear from Darkest Peru—on a railway platform in London. He is sitting on a battered suitcase, wearing an odd-looking hat and a sign hanging around his neck which says, "Please look after this bear." That is just what they do, little knowing that their lives will never be the same again.

Paddington's good intentions are equaled only by his absolute talent for getting into trouble, and readers of all ages will welcome him into their homes as happily as Mr. and Mrs. Brown and their children Jonathan and Judy in their home at 32 Windsor Gardens, London. Paddington books have been translated into 30 languages across 70 titles and sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.

Includes:

* Observant Paddington fans may note that a number of titles are not listed here. Two novel-length collections, dating from Bond's years as a BBC cameraman and his work on the popular children's television programme Blue Peter, have not been republished, specifically Paddington's Blue Peter Story Book (1973) and Paddington on Screen (1980).

** Between 1979 and 2008, Bond continued to publish Paddington at a slower pace, mostly in picture book form. Several of these have been collected in the Paddington Treasury, but they are not all included here. See the Wikipedia bibliography for more details.

*** Paddington at St. Paul's was the last Paddington story, published just before Bond's death and the 60th anniversary of Paddington's first appearance. We thought it ought to be included in this set.
