How do Jewish children living in Jerusalem react to the daily tensions of life in Israel?
Tali has lived in Jerusalem for all her nine years.
As she opens her scrapbook she reveals the beauty of Jerusalem, the splendor of its historic sights and monuments, the freshness and freedom that she loves.
But during these short nine years, the city that is beloved by Jews, Christians and Moslems, has changed. There is so much tension now, and disappointment, especially disappointment. Tali wonders when the peace of Jerusalem will return.
And she wonders, too, when her grand-parents, uncles and aunts will return to visit her. They were supposed to come to Jerusalem to celebrate her birthday, as they have done every year. But this year, one-by-one, they've canceled their trip.
"Maybe next year." Tali thinks to herself, as her father takes a snapshot of her for her scrapbook.
"I'll be waiting."
