The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

There's bound to be trouble when a Girl Scout Troop and a Boy Scout Troop suddenly discover they are on the same tour through the zoo.  But it wasn't until Donna Wesley got home that she found out where the trouble was –in her shoulder bag, making a sound exactly like a frog. "Chur-r-RUNK!"

In fact, it was a frog, and Donna, in spite of her better judgment, liked him so much that she named him Freddie and decided to keep him as a pet.  But keeping a frog isn't easy when Dexter Billis, the creep next door, is grimly determined to return him to the swamp.  One close escape after another kept Donna so occupied that she even forgot to worry about her annual horror, the Girl Scout door-to-door cookie sale. Forgot, that is, until Freddie got into a box of cookies.

What happened could only happen in a Scott Corbett story, and has to be read to be enjoyed.

With a very loud "Chur-r-RUNK!" of course.
