The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent condition, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

From the back cover:

In Pia's Journey to the Holy Land, an internationally known Swedish photographer tells of the fascinating trip his daughter, Pia, made with him. She traveled through the land of the Bible, now divided into Israel and Jordan, visiting the places she had heard of in the Bible stories among them Jerusalem and Nazareth the Jordan River and the Sea of Galilee. At first, Pia stayed close to her father, but soon she began to feel at home in her new surroundings. Both Israel, a new country brimming with life, and Jordan, an ancient land where time seems to stand still, were full of adventures for Pia and are evocatively portrayed here for the reader.

The lovely full-color photographs and the simply told story provide a delightful account for both children and adults of a contemporary journey to ancient places.
