The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. If that is important to you, please call ahead or say so in the order comments!

Whenever the Emperor Tamerlane was bored, he called for Hodja, who was like a fresh mountain breeze. He was afraid of no one and said whatever he liked. In many cases, he was the scapegoat, but also a braggart, tale-teller, and man of action. Hodja lived about five centuries ago in Turkey, and is a simple country fellow, more likely in trouble than out. He is the folk-hero of his country and the funny stories about him are told and retold without ever being dull. You will also learn about some of the background of Hodja's home life and times in Turkey.
