Jef Mallett

Mallett entered the world in 1962 in Lansing, Michigan.  With his artistic ability, he created a comic strip while in high school, but afterward decided to venture into nursing.  Changing his mind again, Mallett returned to art and became a graphic artist.  After working for newspapers in Michigan and advancing to art director and editorial cartoonist, Mallett left his job to develop the comic strip "Frazz."  Highly successful and award-winning, the comic strip has become a full-time profession.  Mallett also illustrates books for authors and has penned his own story called Dangerous Dan.  Also one who thoroughly enjoys triathlons and bicycle racing, Mallett's "Frazz" receives positive reviews from readers who appreciate his honest assessment of the running and racing community.  He has also earned awards for his values and ethics portrayed in the comic strip.
