This yearlong course replaces the previous Volume 1 course. Students will develop their skill with the Structure and Style Writing Method while learning about interesting, important people and events in U.S. history from the explorers to the twentieth century. An optional literature component studies six novels that integrate with the historical topics used for writing assignments.
This Teacher's Manual includes creative lesson planning tips, vocabulary quizzes, and embedded student pages with answer keys.
