  A Smashing Finale
Willow White of Washougal, 8/29/2016
In the third and finale book of the King Raven trilogy, Rhi Bran and his faithful Grellon are on a quest to take back their rightful land. After alerting King William the Red of his brother, Duke Robert's, plan of treachery Bran is certain they will be given Elfeal in return. Much to their despair the King went back on his word and the Grellon went back to being outcasts. Now that Abbot Hugo is in charge of the valley Marshall de Guy and Sheriff Richard de Glanville have been instructed to weed out King Raven and his band. But, Bran has different ideas, after traveling a great distance to his mother's people and having his request for help denied he decides it's up to him and his people to take back what was rightfully theirs. This story is a smashing finish to a suspenseful series. I really like the way Stephen Lawhead keeps you guessing till the end who will win. I think adults of all ages who enjoy action, humor, and a little romance, will definitely enjoy these books.
