Story of the Conestoga Wagon

In the early days of America, there were no superhighways for trucks, canals for cargo ships, or airline routes. Only narrow, muddy, rutted dirt roads. And for many years, only the Conestoga Wagon and teams of sturdy horses could carry freight from town to town over these almost impassable roadways. This is the story of the men who created this unique wagon, and how the "Prairie Schooner" served a young America in war and peace.
