The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent condition, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. This is a book of true stories more exciting than any made up stories you ever read. On each page you will find a different story about your country illustrated with beautiful pictures. The stories begin with Columbus and go right straight through our history to the present time. You will read of the Pilgrims; of Paul Revere's famous ride; of Daniel Boone and other explorers; of pioneers and Indians; of Abraham Lincoln; of cowboys. You will read, too, of some of the modern inventions that have helped make our country great; boats and trains; machines to make work easier; telephones and radios.
