During one of his several adventurous voyages in the 1600's an English sailor becomes the sole survivor of a shipwreck and lives for nearly thirty years on a deserted island. This popular "Rainbow Classics" edition, featuring simple, childlike illustrations by illustrator Roger Duvoisin, is one of the more edited of those meant for children, with large sections cut from the text, but it does include a summarized account of Crusoe's adventures after arriving back in England.

Used copies may not have a dust jacket.
