Karen Mains

With her husband David, Mains lived in inner-city Chicago, building a successful church.  Mains has since gone on to be a radio and television producer and co-host, a popular speaker at conferences, and the co-director of Mainstay Ministries.  This author of over 27 books of a religious nature believes in helping Christians deal with today's society.   She has penned The Kingdom Tales Trilogy for children, Open Heart, Open Home about Christian hospitality, and The Fragile Curtain about the barrios and refugee camps around the world that Mains saw as she traveled.  Currently involved in an outreach project called Hungry Souls, Mains is focused too on her writing and on the spiritual lives of her many grandchildren.
