Begun by Jo Ellen Moore and Joy Evans in 1979, Evan-Moor Educational Publishers has since provided teachers and educators with practical, creative, and engaging PreK-6+ educational materials to support and enrich the curriculum.
They strive to produce educational materials that are aligned with current standards and best educational practices, but that are also aligned with student interests and motivations. They pride themselves on their ability to create products that not only build and reinforce basic and complex skills, but that build and reinforce a curiosity about the subjects in which those skills are taught—about reading, writing, math, science, the arts, social studies, and geography—products that help children learn. And, just as important, products that help children love learning.
