This is the newest Easy Grammar book, added to the product line in 2007. It slips between the former Easy Grammar 45 (now titled Grade 4) and 56 (now titled Grade 6).
In Easy Grammar 5, students are asked to delete prepositional phrases in order to help understand other concepts. In addition to grammar concepts, capitalization, punctuation, sentence types, phrases/clauses and friendly/business letters are included. Ample practice worksheets are offered for each skill.
This is the Teacher Text. It includes reproducible student workbook pages with answer keys on the opposite pages, as well as teaching strategies. If you have a copier, you needn't buy anything else as the contents of the workbook and Test booklet are contained. (But if you would have to go to a copy shop, we recommend simply buying the other two as the price difference is not worth the extra trouble.)
