This is a book written by young women, for young women. Anna Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin, along with quotations and stories from 14 other young women, have put together this thought-provoking book that will turn the hearts of daughters first to their fathers, eventually to their husbands, and ultimately to God. Though the authors are young, they definitely know what they're talking about. Their family dinner table was often surrounded by university students seeking the comfort and security that a godly family provides. Because they grew up listening to and conversing with disillusioned and confused college girls, they were inspired to write this book. Written in easy to read question and answer format, this book raises questions such as: "How can I bless my father's vision?" "What is a real woman?" "Do women have a calling outside the home?" "What about higher education?" "Isn't there a time in a girl's life when she should be indepentant of family?" "How can I be a good sister and build up my brothers and sisters?" "Is remaining unmarried a legitimate choice?" "Where do missions fit in?" "How do I become a woman of vision?" "How is one to prepare for being a suitable helpmeet if one's entire life up until marriage has been filled with a 'me-first' mentality?" and many others. The authors have thoroughly researched and thought out their answers, but most importantly, they are constantly going back to what the Bible says about each of these important issues in a young woman's life. There is also an appendix called "Advice to Fathers," written by the authors' father, Geoffrey Botkin.

I haven't yet read this book, but after giving it a very thorough purusal I can definitely recommend it for young women seeking to find their place in God's kingdom.
