16th Century World History

From a Euro- or Americentric perspective, much of the 16th century was spent in "discovering the Americas." The entire century is sometimes called the Age of Exploration, and it's easy to forget that the rest of the world had a lot of other things going on. But that's what this category is for--to compile resources from this period that do NOT have to do with the western hemisphere. There are many, many important topics from around the globe still missed in the selection we have here, but it's an area we definitely wish to expand in time!
