We have carried a book called Draw 50 Horses for some time, and we believe that sufficient for teaching most of the art of drawing horses (with a more professional look), but this book does have additional material to offer. It includes over 75 daily lessons that teach how to draw and color horses, but also discusses shading, talks about the names of the parts of a horse, helps the student to understand saddles, bits and bridles and more. It also gives numerous examples of home schoolers' drawings of horses, chances to imitate great artists like da Vinci and Remington in their horse art, a sketchpad in the back of the book, and five additional marker cards. Recommended for ages 8 & up.
