Travel and Adventure Library for Young Folks

The Travel and Adventure Library for Young Folks books were published in the U.S. the mid- to late-1930s, during the Great Depression, and are generally pretty scarce. Most of them are reprints of books that were first published in the 1920s, though a few (like Pinnochio) were published earlier. Two of them—Pran of Albania and Garram the Hunter—won recognition as Newbery Honor Books.

There are a total of nineteen books that we know of, and they tell stories from around the world, including Africa, Asia, South America, several from Europe, and a couple from the United States.
