Smithsonian Nature Books

We've had Smithsonian's Backyard and Smithsonian Oceanic Collection books trickle through our inventory for years, usually one or two at a time, but we had no idea there were so many (60+!) until we got a larger batch and decided to make a category for them here on the site. These attractive, informative picture books tell about one featured animal, what they eat, how they survive, and more, with simple and clear text and lovely illustrations.
