During one of his several adventurous voyages in the 1600's an English sailor becomes the sole survivor of a shipwreck and lives for nearly thirty years on a deserted island. This popular "Children's Classics" edition, featuring a selection of N.C. Wyeth's brilliant paintings and quite a number of drawings by Louis and Frederick Rhead, is one of the more edited versions of Robinson Crusoe meant for children, with large sections cut from the text, but unlike some of the others, it does include a summarized account of Crusoe's adventures after arriving back in England.
