In our social circles, this is the generally-accepted "favorite" film version of Jane Austin's classic Pride and Prejudice. This 2-DVD set is the six-episode 1995 A&E TV adaptation, starring Colin Firth (the "only" Mr. Darcy for most) and Jennifer Ehle. It runs about 300 minutes (roughly five hours) for all six episodes.
Although it is not officially rated, we would say that it is roughly equivalent to a PG movie and is appropriate for the whole family—even guys should like it...*
