Michael Clay Thompson

A graduate of Washington and Lee University with a bachelor's degree, Thompson went on earn his master's degree in gifted and talented education from Western Carolina University.  Involved with education for over 30 years, Thompson works as an online instructor in language arts for Northwestern University Gifted LearningLinks.  Thompson has over the years written and published numerous books on writing, vocabulary, grammar, and poetry.  He has penned also historical works about the stories surrounding the Declaration of Independence and the Gettysburg Address.  This full-time author, speaker, and consultant edits Our Gifted Children magazine and lives with his family in Raleigh, North Carolina.
