MFW U.S. History to 1877

This fully integrated history, bible, government, and literature program is the first part of a two year program for American History. Designed for students in late high school, this program is meant for them to do mostly on their own. Focusing on early American history, U.S. History to 1877 takes you from the landing at Plymouth to the Civil War with United States History. The literature program is integrated into your history as you read classic American literature and biographies like the Scarlet Letter and The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. A Bible program, consisting of thought-provoking books like Thinking Like a Christian and Christian Character, encourage kids to stand firm and grow in their faith as they prepare to face the world. A thorough knowledge of American government is also included this year. With easy-to-follow lesson plans and plenty of discussion questions and activities, this program ensures that your students’ final years of high school are providing a comprehensive education of what they need to know and understand.
