Master Books, known for years as a publisher and distributor of creation science books, has worked hard during the last decade to become a full-fledged homeschool curriculum company. They publish the James Stobaugh language arts and history course, have acquired several curricula lines like Writing Strands, Jensen's English, and Math Lessons for a Living Education, and are working to create guides that meld disparate books into a unified and cohesive curriculum.
Philosophically, most of these materials are textbooks with a distinctly Christian foundation and a Charlotte Mason flavor. Master Books now offers grade level bundles on their website, and we plan to stock most of these materials as they become available.
Having said that, we recommend you use their materials with discernment. We laud their strong focus on bringing the "Christian worldview" into everything they teach, but there isn't a universal perspective on what that means. While acknowledging we are sometimes over-critical, we believe the publisher's focus may be too narrow at times, and some of their books are not as substantive or logically/factually solid as they believe them to be.
