When you’re at a croquet party where mallets tend to fall on toes, it’s inevitable that someone lets out a bad word. When one such bad word floats by Elbert, he catches it and stuffs it into his back pocket. But it doesn’t stay there. It sneaks up to his bow tie, and jumps into his mouth. It waits till a mallet flies into the air and lands on Elbert’s toe—and the bad word leaps out, bigger and uglier than before. Everyone is horrified! Can the local gardener (who is also a practicing wizard) help Elbert get rid of the bad word?
