A Swan Who Plays the Trumpet??
Paxman of Kzoo, 5/25/2017
It all started in a wild pond in Canada. Louis, in The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. White, is just a normal swan with a speech defect. Then his father goes to steal a trumpet so Louis can communicate.

But then Louis realizes that he has to go and find jobs so his father can pay for the trumpet. But will the employers hire a swan?

My favorite part was when Louis' father steals the trumpet. A quote from the storekeeper when he gets paid back for the trumpet, "I'll say they're making a comeback." I loved this book because of the adventure Louis went on to get the money. I would recommend this book to people who like adventure.
