Waring has raised her three homeschooled children to adulthood and is currently updating her world history curriculum called
Diana Waring Presents. An author and speaker, Waring has traveled throughout the United States encouraging homeschool parents and enlightening the homeschool community. She wrote the book
Beyond Survival and with her husband Bill, she co-edited and co-compiled
Things We Wished We'd Known. Waring is also on the board of the Washington Association of Teaching Christian Homes and resides in Washington State.
