Historical Setting: Ancient Greece

The siege of Troy is ended. The city is in ruins and the Greeks can finally return home victorious. But for Odysseus, king of Ithaca, another long test of courage, endurance and cunning is just beginning. Buffeted by ill winds into unknown seas, Odysseus and his crew find themselves confronted by the terrifying Cyclops, then trapped by the enchantments of Circe, then facing the deadly temptations of the sirens and the perils of Scylla and Charybdis. Meanwhile, Odysseus's wife, Penelope, is besieged by suitors laying claim to her husband's throne.

A Caution:

This is a remarkable book, and we are proud to offer it (when we can), but there are some graphic war illustrations throughout the book, and some nudity, as was in Greek culture. If you are sensitive to these things, please understand they are there!
