Exploring Creation with Chemistry, 2nd edition is designed to be a first-year high school chemistry course and gives the student a rigorous foundation in the subject, in order to prepare him or her for a college-level course. While the laboratory experiments are designed for the home, some of them are easier with specialized equipment available from Apologia or their supplier for around $60. All of the chemicals used in this course consist of household materials such as table salt, baking soda, dish soap, vinegar, etc. This kit is comprised of three pieces. The hardbound text contains all student material, on-your-own questions and solutions, laboratory exercises, and chapter study guides.
