Many of Lewis's books are personal in tone, and it could certainly be argued that other books belong in this collection—such as Spirits in Bondage, Grief Observed and The Problem of Pain—but we have decided not to include books of poetry or titles that are in the popular Signature Classics boxed set. This particular batch includes several volumes of letters, Lewis's diary from 1922-27 called All My Road Before Me, his autobiography Surprised by Joy, and two books to dabble in Lewis's inspirations: his anthology of George Macdonald and Reflections on the Psalms.
