Once there was a little sister and a big brother who teased her. And every time he teased her she cried. When he said he would put tacks in her bed she cried, and when he said that she had three eyes she cried. In fact, she always cried until one day she was busy (and also tired of crying). So her big brother got tired of teasing her, and instead he sat down and they happily colored pictures together all afternoon.
There is exquisite simplicity and humor in both the words and the pictures which will utterly enchant the youngest child.
