A Beka includes geography in its history curriculum for all grade levels, usually in optional extra map study workbooks that correspond to their history texts. At grades 7 and 8, their geography workbooks can stand alone, including built-in atlases, study questions and map work for the eastern and western hemispheres.
At 9th grade, A Beka's whole history course focuses on World Geography, with political and cultural profiles. Beginning with the Old World, the text leads students on a study-tour of the continents, highlighting the different lands and peoples of Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, and the Americas. Colorful photographs bring each chapter to life, sparking student interest, while maps and charts increase understanding.
