The author recommends that you do this book after completing Level 4. If just beginning Writing Strands, he recommends a minimum age of 15 or 16. Level 5 teaches narrative voice attitude, arguments, writing for action, dialogue, tense control, organizing descriptions, business letters, flashbacks, and controlling reader response.
The author/publisher recommends using Evaluating Writing with every level of Writing Strands.
