Third in the series, this longer Gus story is vital to the collection, because it tells what happens to the Scott family and how Gus becomes a Museum ghost. Gus's very old house (there aren't many like it left) is going to be sold to the government and knocked down in order to make room for a park, and it is up to Gus to find a way to save it. This one helps to make sense of Gus and the Baby Ghost.
