Westminster Shorter Catechism for Kids is a curriculum designed to do more than merely teach a child to repeat the Shorter Catechism. Each lesson focuses on both memorization and comprehension.
Bible study, vocabulary, church history, theology, and life applications are all woven together in a fun and kid-friendly fill-in-the-blank format. Kids are encouraged to think through problems and build a biblical perspective on life.
The first workbook in the Catechism for Kids series covers the basic theological principles of the purpose of man, the attributes of God, and the creation of the world. Children begin with an understanding of God as he is revealed in Scripture, and from there work outward to an understanding of the world around them. (For ages 7-13)
