Between The New Way Things Work (published in 1998) and The Way Things Work Now (2016) this book received a fairly drastic overhaul. One thing that jumped out to us right away is that the older volume used a lot more sepia tones while the newer incorporates a lot more color. While the main table of contents is identical, the sub-sections are modified, and certain technologies are updated (essentially the same pictures as before, but with modified information) or replaced by entirely new technologies and spreads.
