Victor C. Pellegrino

Graduating with a B.S. and a M.S. from the State University of New York, College at Buffalo, Pellegrino became an expert in the field of writing. He married a lady from Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, and taught writing and literature at Maui Community College for twenty-eight years. He held the chairperson position of the Language Arts Division for eight years. Pellegrino had been a Fulbright Scholar in India and traveled all over China and Japan. Finding books by interesting authors during his travels, Pellegrino created his own literature course based on writings from India, China, and Japan and integrated it with literature from the Western world. An awarded individual, Pellegrino received the Excellence in English Teaching Award and has become famous for his books. Helping students learn to write properly, Pellegrino designed You Can Write! Practical Writing Skills for Hawai'i and several other works. Not limited to writing about writing, he also pens haiku and has published books on art and an Italian cookbook. Pellegrino continues with his current projects that include an children's book, a novel, and the genealogy of his family.
