AS THIS STORY opens the three Space Academy cadets, Tom, Roger, and Astro, are about to leave for a vacation to hunt the tyrannosaurus on the planet Venus. At Venusport they are given a lift to the home of plantation owner Sinclair whose home is on the fringe of the jungle.
Something is brewing on the planet Venus, and before they know it, the three boys from Earth are in the thick of it. While hunting the giant tyrannosaurus the boys are captured and taken to the rebel base. They have the surprise of their lives when they discover the identity of the leader of the rebellion.
After many exciting adventures Tom manages to escape from the cavern prison and to summon the aid of the fleet of the law and order forces, and in one of the most savage battles in all space history the rebels are defeated. The three rocketeers are reunited and set out to capture the leader of the revolt, who has escaped.
Readers who have read all five of the Tom Corbett books so far claim this story to be the most exciting of all Tom Corbett's adventures in space.
