A time line is a simple way to organize events and people in all areas of study. It can also help to illustrate relationships between the events or people pictured. The whole pipeline may be displayed or only a portion of it. The teacher or the child adds pictures from other sources to highlight events being studied. The history figures are designed to be placed above the pipeline. Figures with the same date may need to be placed above another picture to avoid overlapping. As indicated on the pipeline, the presidents are placed below it. The camera figure pictured here may be positioned on the pipeline to show the point in time being studied.
