The books in this section are usually hardcover and in decent shape, though we'll sometimes offer hard-to-find books in lesser condition at a reduced price. Though we often put images of the book with their original dust jackets, the copies here won't always (or even often) have them. This is the story of a little Quaker boy who has an unusual friend. Everywhere he goes this one seagull is always hopping along behind him. At first Obadiah resents his little feathered friend. Seagulls don't follow anyone else around. But when he frees the bird's beak from a tangled and rusty fishhook he accepts this funny bird's offer of friendship.
Although this is the most popular of the series, there are three more books about Obadiah: The Adventures of Obadiah (out of print), Rachel and Obadiah, and Obadiah the Bold.
