Stellaluna think she’s a bird. When she was separated from her mother when she was young, a family of birds adopts the little bat on one condition: Stellaluna must stop doing things like hanging upside down and waking up at night. No proper bird would do things like that. Though Stellaluna does her best to fit in with the bird family and becomes good friends with the little birds, she soon finds that she can’t to everything birds can. But one day, Stellaluna meets a strange furry bird who likes to hang upside down. The furry bird introduces her to more furry birds just like them. Though Stellaluna remains firm friends with the bird family who saved her, her life is about to change forever as she begins to discover who she really is.
