Sherri has always had a love for the ocean and began snorkeling and diving while young. After receiving a degree in biology/Pre-med, Sherri worked as a marine biologist at The Living Seas in EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World. She was involved in collecting and maintaining coral reef animals, especially focusing on fish nutrition and marine predator care. During this time, she completed research on shark behavior and was the first individual representing Walt Disney World to have research published in a scientific journal. Sherri has written several articles for marine related magazines such as Tropical Fish Hobbyist and Aquarium magazine. For the last 15 years, she also has taught marine biology seminars and led field trips for public, private, and homeschooled students. She and her husband, David, live in Orlando and have been homeschooling their four children for eleven years.
Sherri has a very motivated heart for teaching students the importance of studying God's creation and equipping them to give an answer for their faith.
