Selina Hastings has a long career as a writer, be it in biographies or journalism. After her education at Oxford, Hastings became assistant editor for the
Daily Telegraph,
then went on as editor
Harper's and Queen. Aside from working with the English news, Hastings is a biographer, and has authored
Nancy Mitford,
Evelyn Waugh, and
Rosamond Lehmann. Hastings has also held the position of judge for literary awards such as the Whitebread Prize.
