Sarah Mally was born in 1979. She decided one day to begin a discipleship ministry to encourage young girls to follow the path of Christ. Bright Lights thus came about in May 1996 and has tremendously grown over the years becoming nationwide. Mally is also a part of the Mally family ministry and has collaborated with her brother and sister to pen the book Making Brothers and Sisters Best Friends. She frequently speaks at home school conferences with her family and, though she is still not married herself, often hosts "Radiant Purity" conferences with other young women who are on the Bright Lights staff.
