Reynold Pollak was born in Vienna, Austria, where he went to school at the Academy of Fine Art. There he won the Masterschool Prize for Graphic Art and later the Golden Fuger Medal. He traveled in Italy, Yugoslavia, France, Switzerland, Cuba, and Canada, but finally made his home in the United States. His work has appeared in leading magazines and newspapers all over the country.
