This collection combines the cooperative base game Pandemic with its three expansions—On the Brink, State of Emergency, and In the Lab.
You are specialists at the CDC/Atlanta where you watch several virulent diseases break out simultaneously all over the world. The team mission is to prevent a worldwide pandemic outbreak, treating hot spots while researching cures for each of the four plagues before they get out of hand.
2-4 players must plan their strategy to mesh their specialists' strengths before the diseases overwhelm the world. The expansions add game play variations and new complexities.
This package does NOT include: Pandemic Contagion (a variation where the players control the plague), Pandemic: The Cure (a dice version of the game) or Pandemic Legacy Season 1 (a new stand-alone in which the diseases morph and actions have repercussions in later games).
