We are up to 605 summer reading challenge participants this year! Here are a few reminders and the promised coupon code.
It looks like most of you have figured out how to access your book log(s), but if you haven't, just log in to your Exodus Books account and the student log will be the sixth item in the list on your welcome screen. If you can't access your account, feel free to call us during store hours at 503.655.1951.
Many of you are emailing us with questions about the genre challenge. We have added prizes for students who complete the "legendary adventurer" or "genre legend" levels (a challenging feat indeed!) The books that you read to complete the requirements of the genre challenge can be books that you are already reading for the summer reading challenge, but they don't necessarily have to be on our website (although it's helpful for us!) or at your student's grade level (although we recommend it!)
We have a list of winners going on the review sweepstakes page! We're giving away $5 to one student reviewer a week until the end of August. The drawing is random, but the more reviews you write the more entries you'll have!
We've been deluged with emails asking us to "please add ____ to the list." We're doing our best to process these requests, and we thank you for your patience with us. We've been adding a number of books but can't promise anything ahead of time! As stated in the rules, we'll happily consider suggestions for the book log until July 31. But we've already put a lot of thought into our selection and some things are intentionally excluded. If you want to be sure the book will count, check the book log first!
