Kloosterman first earned his Bachelor's degree in Greek from Calvin College before going on to become a minister in the United Reformed Churches. At Mid-America Reformed Seminary, Kloosterman teaches Ethics, New Testament Studies, Homiletics and Church Polity. He worked as a translator on the book Responsible Conduct, contributed to To You and Your Children, and has edited and authored his own books such as Relationship Between Christian Liberty and Love.
