A native of Vermont, Kinsey-Warnock writes books that all reflect her love of nature, animals, and the Vermont countryside. At a young age she considered being a veterinarian; instead, she graduated from Johnson State College with degrees in both art and athletic training. Kinsey-Warnock held a variety of positions and jobs until she started on her first children's book Canada Geese Quilt. The pleasure from writing and the success of her book led her to become a full-time author. Dedicated to family and realistic fiction, Kinsey-Warnock also penned Bear That Heard Crying based on a true story about a long-deceased aunt who had gotten lost in the woods. Touching and compelling, her stories portray history and times long gone. An awarded author who has written almost forty books, Kinsey-Warnock continues writing and painting with watercolors from her beloved home in Vermont, surrounded by her Morgan horses, cats, and dogs.
